When I stepped into the clinic, I was so shocked that the clinic had a whole building and the overall atmosphere was so tidy and comfortable. After CT scans and X-rays, I met with Dr. Kim Tae Gyu for a consultation on facial contouring surgery. He advised me not to reduce too much bone as I had big eyes and thick lips, which made me felt his expert in providing customised surgeries to different people. After that, I also met Dr. Lee Jiwon for a consultation on rhinoplasty. He is so experienced that he knows how to improve every part of my nose. They told me I'd become much prettier and I was so excited for the surgery after the consultation. I would like to thank Jennifer here as well because she helped translate every single word of the doctor and made sure I didn’t miss out on any of the information. Thank you for being by my side!

Surgery Day

Honestly, I was a little bit nervous on the surgery day. But at the same time, I was so excited because I knew I would become a better version of myself after the surgery. Before the surgery, the clinic got me a sheet of what to do and not to do. I followed the instructions well and took some pictures before the surgery started. The doctors also came and had a last consultation with me and it makes me feel assured of the surgery result!

Post-operation update

Day 1 - 2

   

The picture here may look a little bit scary, but honestly, I didn’t feel pain at all. I just remember getting anesthesia and waking up, and that’s it. The sweetest thing was Braun prepared a bag filled with pumpkin juice, thin rice gruel, and soya milk for my recovery. Thank you so much!! They also got me a de-swelling laser and hair wash, which made me feel much more comfortable after that.

Day 7 

Let's quickly jump to the check-up day as the days after the operation were typically the same: resting, applying ointment and ice packs for deswelling, taking medicines, and also gargling every few hours. A week after surgery, I went back to Braun for the check-up and the doctor told me the surgery was successful, and my swelling parts would become thinner and thinner as time passed. Braun again got me a de-swelling treatment and I can feel it really helps!
