Procedure : Facial contouring surgery (cheekbone reduction, jaw angle reduction, genioplasty), Rhinoplasty (Hump removal, Tip reshaping, donor rib cartilage)
Hello, this is Maxi and I would like to share my wonderful experience in Braun Medical Group which definitely changed my whole life. Before sharing, I would like to send out a special shout-out to Jennifer, my client manager, who took very good care of me during my surgery in Korea, as well as booked the entire trip for me. Jennifer was super kind, super lovely, and super relatable too, thank you so much!
The results were so soft and natural, and the doctors really listened to what I wanted and respected my own features. Now I love every angle of my face, I feel comfortable even without makeup too. I underwent the transgender facial feminization surgery, and I’m so glad that I truly see the feminine face that I’ve always imagined when I looked into my reflection and my mirror. I feel like my dream comes true and it’s definitely a 5 out of 5 stars experience in Braun.
So here’s my journey in Korea.
After arriving in Korea, Jennifer picked me up at the airport and we went straight to Braun for the consultation. The tall building of Braun surprised me, the environment there was really clean and spacious too. After arriving, I filled in a form stating my medical history and also did a CT scan right away.
When I woke, Jennifer and the nurse brought me to a recovery room and honestly I barely remember that because of the anesthesia. All I remember was the wrapping around my face was so tight, and my throat was so dry because I couldn’t drink anything 6 hours before the surgery. But the nurse injected me with some painkillers so I didn’t feel any pain at all. I was so tired and I slept through the whole day.
On the next day, the blood bags were removed and I felt way better in breathing. The doctor told me the first few days would be the hardest time because of the bruise and the swelling, but the surgery went really well.
My eyes could finally open on the fifth day. On the sixth day, I went back to Braun to take off my nasal bandages and I could breathe so much better after this. The stitches of my cheekbone reduction were also taken out. The doctor had some check-ups on me, telling me how much swelling I still had, and whether my wounds were recovering well.
I also had an another laser sw-swelling treatment that day. The nurse used a cooling machine to massage my face and it was really good. After that, there was a regular heated laser on my face. My healing process really sped up after these treatments.
I felt so much better after a week and I could finally eat foods like burgers or cheeseballs. For the rest of my days in Korea, I did a lot of shopping, exploring, and dining, and I really loved it! Thank you so much, Jennifer and Braun, for taking good care of me during the whole journey again!
Here are some of my comparison photos and hope you guys find them informative!
