     Pre-Op review: My experience at Braun was very professional from the beginning consultation, to the wonderful results I received. Jennifer was my point of contact, and coming from the USA, I did not know what to expect. This was my first time in Korea, and my first time traveling such a long distance by myself. The moment I walked into the building, I felt at ease as everything was well-kept and professional. I like how they have different floors for each stage of recovery, including aftercare (which was a big reason why I chose Braun in the first place). The convenience of coming to the same location throughout my 11-day stay simplified the entire experience. I met with all three doctors during my pre-op visit and felt at ease with their medical experience. Even though I came as a foreigner, I was well taken care of by all the staff and had adequate translation.

     Post Operation: The procedures I had done included: revision rhinoplasty, SMAS facelift, facial contouring, and facial liposuction. I opted to do everything at once, as this worked the best for my travel schedule. Because I had many procedures done at the same time, I experienced a lot of swelling and bruising to my face, although this is completely normal. The first night after surgery was probably the most difficult as I experienced nausea as well as difficulty sleeping in the hospital. The first 3-4 days were probably the hardest as swelling was at it’s peak. However, I was diligent about walking, nutrition, and taking my medication. I had congestion for the first month as well as a bit of stomach discomfort from taking the medication. Once my bandages were removed, I felt better about being out in public, although I was still very swollen. Once I had my stints inside my nose removed, as well as my stitches removed, I had an easier time breathing. I was in a bit of shock at first with how different I looked, but I was assured by the staff at Braun that it was too early in my healing stage to see results.

    3rd Month Review: This is when I started to feel very positive about the changes to my face. Initially, I was nervous to see friends and family due to the large difference in how I looked (because I had so many procedures done at once - and swelling was apparent). After slowly integrating back to my normal social life, I was assured that I still looked like me. I even got compliments on how young I looked! I was getting used to my new look, and loving it. Most people knew I had something done, but couldn’t put their finger on it. This is exactly what I had wanted. My face appeared tighter, lifted, younger, and more beautiful as the swelling went down. My nose was still swollen at the bridge, but looking at weekly photos, I could tell that everything was healing according to schedule. I still had some tightness around the cheekbones but my SMAS facelift scars were beginning to lighten.

     6th Month Review: I absolutely love the changes to my face. Honestly, I was initially terrified with how different I looked. But looking back now, I can see that most of this was anxiety around having procedures done without telling any of my close friends and family, as well as swelling. I have the slightest bit of soreness around my cheekbones, but this gets better day by day. My scars are improving as well, and most people can’t even see them. I feel like myself, but a better version. I would 100% go through this again if I had to. I am way more confident in photos, and am so happy I made the decision to come to Braun. I am planning to even come back to Korea to visit at the 12 month mark. I recommend Braun to anyone looking to positively change their physical appearance - my results are natural and amazing!
